On the day
What to expect when you arrive
A private room, not a clinic
Each office is a private, serviced room rather than a shopfront. Nothing on the door says what the appointment is for, and reception will not ask you who you are seeing or why.
We do not visit homes
A quiet, controlled room is a genuine requirement of a valid examination — and it is far more discreet for you than an examiner arriving at your door.
Bring photo ID, and arrive 15 minutes early
Bring a valid passport or driving licence. Identification is mandatory and the examination cannot begin without it. Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time — unreasonable lateness may mean the examination cannot go ahead.
Getting here
Travel and parking
Every office has parking either on site or in a public car park a short walk away, and each one is close to the town or city centre. We will confirm exactly where to park, and which entrance to use, when we ring to arrange your appointment — so you are not working it out on the day.
