Paying
Deposit and balance
A £150 deposit per examinee secures the slot
The deposit is £150 for each person being examined, and is non-refundable — so £150 for a single test and £300 for a couples test. You pay it by card when you book, and your appointment slot is held once it has cleared.
The balance is due 48 hours before
The remaining balance must reach us no later than 48 hours before your appointment, and your appointment is not confirmed until it has. Booking within 24 hours of the examination? The full amount is payable up front. You can pay the balance by bank transfer, or by card using the secure payment link in your reminder email. You can also choose to pay in full when you book.
All communication is by email
We communicate by email, and a confidentiality agreement is in place between the examiner and the examinee. Nothing we send states what the appointment is for.
If plans change
Cancelling and rescheduling
Before your test you will complete a booking document, which sets out the terms for the examination including cancellation and rescheduling. We go through it with you, and nothing in it will be a surprise on the day.
The £150-per-examinee booking fee is non-refundable. The balance must reach us no later than 48 hours before the appointment, and the appointment is not confirmed until it has. If you book within 24 hours of the examination, the full amount is payable up front.
48 hours' notice to move or cancel an appointment
A moved appointment must fall within 21 days of the original booking date
A transferred booking fee must be used within 14 days of the new date
Less than 48 hours' notice, or not attending, means all fees paid are retained
We understand that people sometimes change their minds about these appointments. If something has changed, talk to us.
